MEET CHRISTINE LUCIGNANO

IN THE BEAUTY HALL, ARNOTTS, AT 6PM

Ahead of?Arnotts Style Sessions, we talked to Christine about her hero products and her beauty tips for all ages.

CHRISTINE’S TIPS FOR ALL AGES

?Your 20’s

Prevention is the key! A full spectrum block for the face will ensure that your face will not only be safe from skin cancer but also you will look younger longer. Try Chanel’s CC Cream as it has an SPF 50 and makes your skin look dreamy.

Your 30’s

Learn about your particular face shape and colouring, then whether you’re wearing natural or full drama makeup, you will know what suits. This is also the time to invest in a serum.

?Your 40’s

Now is the time to spend more effort and money based on the skincare elements of a product, rather than the colour. If you are investing in colour, make sure the products are hydrating. If you are using eyeshadows, blushes and lip products with metallic, make sure there is a real refined mica base in the products for more of a pearl finish, instead of a glitter. Try Christian Dior eyeshadows as they are the easiest to blend and the mica is quite refined. They also stay on ALL DAY.

?Your 50’s

The challenge at this age is to keep the skin very hydrated and keep up with corrective products. Menopause typically becomes a challenge as well. Keeping up with facials at the change of season is essential now. Try Bobbi Brown’s Intensive Skin Foundation, it perfects imperfections and treats the skin as well.

Your 60’s

Treat yourself to a professional makeup lesson now. Your face and eye shape have changed and you need to remaster your face. Less is more at this stage but skin needs to glow so between great exfoliation and moisture masks, try cream blushes and eye shadows instead of powders. Clinique, Lanc’me, MAC, Bobbi Brown and Clarins do great cream blushes and MAC, Bobbi Brown and Chanel have perfect cream shadows.

CHRISTINE’S HERO PRODUCTS

This Spring/Summer 2017, I am most excited for the many hybrid products hitting the market – mascaras that also treat lash growth and foundations that give picture perfect finish but also are packed full of skin benefits. ?In terms of trends I have been a big fan of graphic liner for a good few seasons. Red lips continue to be important for the entire year whereas a few years ago you would really only see a red lip on an Autumn/Winter runway. ?The variations of red lip textures, finishes and tones are now at a fast pace of growth, so my own personal signature lip look is bang on trend. These products however, are Christine’s hero products that will always be on trend.

M?A?C Pro Longwear Concealer

Magic Cream is made with a secret blend of ingredients, but what we do know is inside is anti-aging BioNymph Peptide Complex, combined wih floral extracts and a hyaluronic acid booster to lift and flood the skin with moisture and to?give you the perfect canvas to apply your makeup.

YSL Touch? Eclat Foundation

Get skin that looks like it’s had 8 hours of beauty sleep in a drop, with flawless coverage, a weightless feel and an?anti-fatigue formula that?energizes skin by stimulating micro-circulation and targeting dullness to instantly improve skin brightness and luminosity.
