Naomi Campbell To Join American Horror Story

Watch out because American Horror Story just got scarier. Kidding! Model Queen the one and only Naomi Campbell is the latest star set to join the newest series of American Horror Story: The Hotel.

This was confirmed by the Hollywood Reporter. Campbell, who starts shooting next week, joins an impressive cast that includes AHS veterans Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare and Lily Rabe, as well as new additions like Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Max Greenfield.

This is interesting as Campbell has already been stretching her acting chops on the hit TV show Empire, so we’re looking forward to seeing what she’ll bring to this seriously spooky (but brilliant) show.

Campbell will reportedly have many scenes with Lady Gaga on the show.
Campbell will reportedly have many scenes with Lady Gaga on the show.

Very fittingly, she’s set to play a Fashion Editor, who must ultimately pay for her harsh critiques. According to reports, the bulk of her scenes are set to be with Lady Gaga so we’re expecting a showdown of epic proportions between this pair. Gaga’s role in the show has yet be be revealed, but we’re thinking it’ll be something along the lines of Gaga as a humble fashion intern, getting her own revenge and thus cementing her place in the world of scary fashion. We think this could really work as a storyline (if we do say so ourselves!), but we’re thinking it won’t be anything nearly as predictable as that.

Fingers crossed we see some amazing strutting from Campbell and hear a tune or two from Gaga.

Campbell acting scary should really be no problem to her, as we think her tough love approach on The Face was fairly terrifying. She’s brilliant, but she can often be quite scary. We’re super excited about this though, she’ll make a great addition to an already strong cast.

Are you excited for the new series?
