Nestled in the heart of Kilkenny, Rosemarie Durr creates exquisite hand thrown pottery that more resembles delicate china than it does pottery.?Her beautiful pieces are adorned with her signature and distinctive?blue accents that will adorn any home with serenity and tranquility.?Having trained in the Crafts Council of Ireland, she then went on to become production potter in some of Irelands leading pottery studios before opening her own dedicated studio where she produces a gorgeous selection of homewares. Artist Ruth Power is the skilled hands and passionate heart behind the colorful DANU Ceramics. Since graduating from the National College of Art and Design with first-class honors in ceramics in 2011, this young artist has gone from strength to strength. Designing jewelry,?ceramic homewares, and wall art, Power finds inspiration through travel and food which translates into her colorful – almost animated – pieces. Darren Francis Cassidy is a ceramic artist, tutor, and active member of the Cork Potters Society and The Craft Council of Ireland. Growing up in the late 70’s without access to technology lead Cassidy to develop a deep love for nature and the lush Irish landscape. Cassidy originally pursued a career in art and digital illustration, but felt that there was little tangibility to the work and changed the trajectory of his career in 2011 and now works and passes his skills on to other craftspeople from his studio in Cork.
