Bunsen Burger

By Bill O'Sullivan
28th Jul 2013
Bunsen Burger

Black Aberdeen Angus from FX Buckley and Amish dinner rolls (ie buns) from a bakery in Tallaght – good staunchy staples that deliver the goods. It’s getting a lot of press and hype but Bunsen Burger has earned it. Its strength lies in its steely, pared back presentation and robust flavours. People’s near fetish for the provenance of their food doesn’t hurt either. The end result is a burger joint that hits the bulls-eye of the new hamburger craze. Succulent and of stunning quality this fare needs to be tried and tested. Again and again.
