DeVilles

DeVilles

The Foodie haven that is Dalkey now houses another great restaurant. DeVilles is a happy hybrid of a New York Steakhouse and a French Bistro. What we love on our (multiple) visits there is the steak – there is an entire steak menu – so far, so NY. Various cuts of great, flavourful meat all cooked to perfection. The menu is larger than just that though with solid seafood offerings and wonderful sides. The bar serves mainly French wines and great cocktails.

Tip – just let the barman choose your cocktail, we’ve done this each time and been blown away. The Hendricks G&T also more than cuts the mustard. Named after their grandmother, DeVilles was set up in 2012 by siblings Kim and David O’Driscoll. Both have an impressive foodie pedigree, with previous management roles in Locks, The Green Hen and Ely Wine Bar.? Trust us, they know what they’re doing. Want another tip? Order the Steak Frites, it’s something special. We’re kinda obsessed.
