Walking into Teatro with its cosy, colourful interior and flickering candlelight, feels like discovering a little piece of old Bohemia. Last time we visited, owner Fleur Jackson greeted us with a decadent black Dahlia cocktail, which was wickedly, wickedly good. We were starving and chose a greedy selection of tapas from the heady Mediterranean-influenced menu. Soon the table was heaving with platters of garlicy patatas bravas, fiery tosta de champignon and a stellar dish of hake salad that was bursting with fresh, zingy flavour. The real star of the show came later though in the form of feather-light, sugar-dusted swirls of Spanish churros festooned with a rich chocolate sauce. And throughout, co-owner Kyron Bourke played the piano and flamenco guitar. When can I go back?
