Justin and Jessica Welcome Baby Silas

silas

#ICYMI, on account of the thundering rain and generally psychotic weather we endured this weekend, Justin Trousersnake is now a daddy. (And though the media seemed focused on him rather than Jessica Biel for the most part through this pregnancy, let us point out that she is now a mommy too). Nawww. According to People Magazine, hitmaker JT and his beautiful wife Jessica have welcomed their first child into the world. Unlike Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who kept us all guessing and making up monikers to satisfy our own curiosity, Timberlake and Biel have already told the world of their baby boy’s name: Silas Randall Timberlake.

We’ll try our best not to think of that evil dude from The Da Vinci Code who also went by the name of Silas; our guess is baby Timberlake is a LOT cuter. Randall, for those who are craving more baby information right about now, here’s the official line from People – “It’s official: Justin Timberlake will be passing on his suit and tie. The singer-songwriter and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, have welcomed their first child, son Silas Randall Timberlake, their reps confirm to PEOPLE exclusively. Reps say mom and baby are doing well, and dad is “ecstatic.” Further details are being kept private at this time.”

Silas was the middle name of Timberlake’s maternal grandfather Bill Bomar, who died in 2012 while Randall is the musician’s own middle name, as well as his father’s first.

Will Silas grow up to be a singer-come-actor like his da-da? Or will he follow his mother’s suit, starring in ass-kicking action flicks and leaving the world of music to JT? And who will be his celebrity friends? Will Harlow Beckham be too old to care by the time Randall can talk? Will he hang out with baby James Reynolds or Blue Ivy? For now, we wait with bated breath.
