Last night the Made in Chelsea Twitter account teased and delivered with “Empire State Building. Statue of Liberty. Staten Island. Times Square. Chelsea. Guess where we’re going?” That’s right, Sloane Square is Manhattan bound. The E4 runaway success and BAFTA winning show is going stateside for a six-part series that will air in August. J1 Summer anyone?
Executive producer Sarah Dillistone says “New York has a scene buzzing and is sophisticated enough to rival Chelsea, so it feels like the next natural step. We’re going to see the cast out of their bubble for the first time since the show began and I’m sure the result will be nothing like we’ve seen before.”
It’s going to be like in Hollyoaks when they go and have post-watershed fun and drama in the city, only with 5th Avenue hijinks and Spencer being just as insufferable across the Atlantic as he is across the Irish Sea. Jamie and Oliver invading the Hamptons? We. Cannot. Wait.
In the meantime Made in Chelsea, the London version, returns to our screens this April. We here at Image Daily promise to keep you informed about any #MiC goings on…
