Salma Hayek Gets Restraining Order After Women Threatened To Kidnap Her Daughter

Actress Salma Hayek has had to file a restraining order against two women, after they allegedly threatened to kidnap her daughter, it has been reported.

According to the Daily Mail, the two women were ?obsessed fans? who Hayek claims are mentally ill and have been impersonating her. In addition, the 48-year-old said in court documents they made ?a veiled threat regarding kidnapping and ransoming’? her seven-year-old daughter, Valentina.

According to Hayek, the woman said in an email, “I know where her daughter will be. How much is her life worth?,” (the ?her? being Hayek’s young daughter), which resulted in Hayek filing the restraining order on Friday.

A court has since ordered the women are to stay at least 100 yards away from the Desperado star, her French billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault and their daughter. They have also been banned from communicating with them or impersonating the actress, according to reports. The restraining order will apparently be made permanent when the actress is due in court next month.

It must have been a scary situation to be in, we can’t imagine what it would be like to see your child threatened, however vague the threat may or may not be.

On the subject of her daughter, the actress recently commented regarding having her daughter later in life (she had her daughter at 40), saying that having children over that age ?was awful,? but we’re assuming she was talking about herself here, and not all women over 40. ?The only thing that is tough about the 40s is when you haven’t had a child. This is awful. And the men today are terrible because when you are coming to the 40s they – start going away. But you know what? (Not) the good ones,? she said.

Hayek has yet to comment on the restraining order.
