Taylor Swift Insured Her Legs for How Much?

taylor swift in blue playsuit

Taylor Swift has reportedly insured her legs for 40,000,000 Dollars. We repeat, Forty. Million. Dollars. And to think Dr. Evil once thought that 1 million Dollars was a lot of money? That’s 20 mil per leg. That’s like 10 million for one calf/shin combination. Or $100k for a baby toe. Whatever way you break it down, it’s totally insane. Even Taylor herself thinks so.

But Swifty wouldn’t be the first female celebrity to insure her body parts. Bette Davis insured her waistline, way back when, for a staggering $28,000 (keeping inflation in mind) while Jimmy Durante secured that famous nose of his for $50k. Dolly Parton insured her beloved breasts for $600,000 which pales in comparison to Holly Madison, former Hugh Hefner beau, who reckoned hers were worth $1 million.

What, we wonder, do these celebrities expect will happen to their body parts? Why not just insure yourself from head to toe in one fell swoop?

The only other celebrity to have insured their legs for the same amount as T-Swizz is Michael Flatley, and in a weird way, that makes complete sense. Flatley is nothing without those jig-dancing legs, but as for Taylor, she might want to protect those vocal chords too. Having said that, she does possess possibly the most stunning pair of pins we’ve ever laid eyes on.

According to Radar Online, who cite The National Enquirer,?the 25-year-old loves to’show off her stems, but the pop princess was still shocked to learn their worth was estimated at a cool $40 million, according to the magazine.?”It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances,” a source told? The ENQUIRER. “Her $200 million career would be in big trouble.”

*Sings* I knew you were trouble when you walked in…
