The Fall Season 3 Is Confirmed

Still from the fall of aisling and jamie

Fans of Jamie Dornan, and we guess, fans of The Fall too, will be delighted to hear that a third season of the popular BBC show has just been confirmed.

A teaser trailer for the show appeared on the BBC’s Youtube channel this afternoon featuring a clip in which Dornan’s character Paul Spector lies in the arms of DSI Stella Gibson as he struggles for breath. The twenty-second clip ends with a voiceover stating that “The Voice will return. Only on BBC2.”

There are no details as to when the third series will air but we’re already counting down the seconds to having not only Jamie Dornan back on the small screen but also to the return of the wonderful Aisling Franciosi?too. Writer and director Allan Cubitt said:

?The cliffhanger ending of season two was conceived in the hope of further exploring the characters and the themes that are at the heart of The Fall.?

The series will be five episodes long and the BBC confirmed that it will bring the story to an end.
