Trinity Fashion Show

We’ve long been impressed by the Fashion Society in Trinity College Dublin. Their annual charity shows are always far from amateur and after last year’s very polished National Gallery showcase, which raised over €4500, our expectations are high. This evening the stylish do-gooders descend upon the Smock Alley Theatre in aid of Barretstown Camp. With the theme “Welcome to the Kingdom”, expect looks drawn from concepts such as Animals, Misfits, Regimental, and Ice. We hope interpretation of the latter involves someone dressed as Frozen’s Elsa courtesy of The Disney Store. We jest.Trinity.Fashion.Show.2013.4_1

This year the nascent student stylists have amassed clothes from some of Dublin’s finest vintage shops – think Om Diva and 9 Crow Street – as well as high street stalwarts Oasis, American Apparel and Topshop. Add an afterparty in the Odessa with a DJ set from Sophie Murphy and we think we might see about going back to college…

Takes place tonight at 8pm in the Smock Alley Theatre. For more details see here.
