Watch: J-Law Clears Up That ?Gross? Hygiene Rumour

We don’t have to remind you of the respect we have for our girl crush Jennifer Lawrence, but this evening, the occasion calls for it. Alongside her obvious beauty, poise and talent, she is totally humble and doesn’t mind revealing relatable facts that make us all feel better. For example, she says it’s totally okay to sit watch Netflix all day without showering (don’t say you haven’t done this at least once), and once or twice she admitted to, ahem, peeing in a sink because well, when you gotta go, you gotta go.

And on the subject of hygiene, the queen of real talk decided to clear up what many deemed ?the grossest thing ever,” after she said that sometimes she doesn’t wash her hands after she uses the ladies room. But come on, the woman was clearly just joking/ being her fabulous self.

However, much of the public (mostly in the US) simply could not let this go and she has been constantly questioned about it while promoting her latest?Hunger Games‘movie. To end the madness, the actress turned to Facebook tonight to put this issue to bed, once and for all and turn the focus back to her work.

“I hate talking to the Internet, but I can’t get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour,” she captioned the below video. “I told MTV I didn’t wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. Of course, I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can’t believe I’ve put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I’ve ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest.”

The fact?that Lawrence is using a bidet in her video is a nod to an ongoing joke she has with Amy Schumer. Because apparently they’re the type of friends who share bidet jokes – the best friends ever (we hope this ends up in their movie).

“This is an ongoing conversation with me and Amy,” she said previously. “I’ll take it one step further. I’ve peed in some sinks. When two girls go into a bathroom, someone’s gotta take sink. I actually like taking sink.”

While it is ridiculous that she had to deal with the matter in such a fashion, she handled it as only she knew how.

Please don’t ever change Jennifer Lawrence.
