A garden in the middle of Dublin where you can have your lunch or dinner, that isn’t expensive or overly fancy, that tickles your inner romantic, whilst equally filling you with amazing grub? It’s a hard ask in this town. And yet, the boys behind Dublin Pop Up have somehow managed it – and how have they managed it! Open since Monday, the Secret Garden is a pop-up restaurant nestled under the canopy of Meeting House Square run by two final year culinary arts students, Cuán Greene and Harry Colley. Picking up on people’s infinite appetite for guerilla food events and simple, honest-to-goodness food, the two chefs set up Dublin Pop Up in November of last year and have been building up events and fans ever since. The Secret Garden only runs til Friday, and it has already sold out both lunch and dinner unsurprisingly, with their menus set at a manageable €10 and €20 mark respectively. However, amble along for a peek and make a fuss about it so they let them stay longer!
