We had a full house in The 5 Star Merrion Hotel at our Mentoring Workshop on Wednesday evening. Leading the workshop was the ‘Presenter Mentor’ Rowan Manahan, an expert in mastering effective presentation and pitching in business.
Attendees were welcomed by editor-in-chief, Melanie Morris who was joined by Julie Dupouy, brand ambassador for Moët & Chandon. Julie shared tips on serving champagne over the festive season whilst guest were treated to Moët & Chandon Grand Reserve 2008 with matching canapés created by The Merrion’s executive chef Ed Coone. Julie also gave us a masterclass in corkage opening, giving us a step by step demonstration and how to avoid any mishaps – see below for Julies suggested champagne pairings for Christmas.
As everyone took their seats they discovered luxurious gifts which included a snipe of Moët & Chandon plus flute, Clarins, Moisture Rich Body lotion and Green & Blacks Chocolate. Rowan Manahan then began his workshop discussing the art of presenting and perfecting communication skills. He demonstrated how to maximise your skills by using powerpoint presentation to engage with your audience.
After a thoroughly informative and enjoyable evening, one guest went home with a bottle of Moët & Chandon Grand Reserve 2008 courtesy of Moët and Chandon Ireland for sharing their#moetmoment. One very lucky attendee also went home with a fabulous €250 gift card for Rocks Jewellers.
Julie Dupouy suggested champagne pairings for dining over the festive season, to compliment starters she recommends Moët & Chandon imperial Non-Vintage. For the main course, Moët & Chandon Imperial Vintage and to compliment dessert, Moët & Chandon Imperial Rose.
