Social Pictures: Annual Summer BBQ At The Gibson Hotel

The gibson hotel hosted its annual summer BBQ for special guests to celebrate the start of the summer season at the hotel.? The Coda Eatery (also the restaurant and location for the ever-popular TV show ?First Dates Ireland?) was?the ideal venue for the funky summer BBQ.

Guests were treated to a summer cocktail reception in the restaurant and on the outdoor terrace as they relaxed to the sounds of top Irish DJ Dan Stritch.

The gourmet BBQ was created by the culinary team at the hotel and included sticky apricot glazed BBQ chicken wings and Pomegranate Glazed Lamb Chops with Feta and Pistachio nuts along with a colourful array of salads including fresh watermelon, mint and feta salad and peach and parma ham salad with mozzarella and a strawberry chilli dressing decorated in seasonal edible flowers.

Well-known faces in attendance included: TV3’s Alan Hughes and his husband Karl Broderick; weather personalities Deric Hartigan and Nuala Carey; Fair City stars George McMahon and David O’Sullivan.
