Why a road trip with Cara, Taylor, Riri, Rosie and Karlie sounds amazing.

April is an in-between month. On the cusp, transitory, a waiting game for the summer and legitimate expectation of fine weather. It is also home to the ‘Holiday Conversation’. Human resources are gently reminding you about holiday forms. You’re half-thinking of cutting out bread because of an article about bikini bodies but don’t think you have enough chemistry with?rye crackers to commit. That colleague you don’t really know needs to say something while queuing for the microwave and what’s a more innocent gambit than ?Doing anything nice this summer??

While we’re trying to sort out our July getaway and watching the Aer Lingus website like Joe Kennedy did Wall Street, we’re taking inspiration from some of our favourite famous ?grammers.

Cara Delevingne always looks fun on social media, be it joking around on the Thundra or waltzing down a runway whilst selfie-taking. She gives good holliers. Rihanna’s ski vacation makes us want to apply for a role in her entourage and Rosie Huntington-Whitely’s tropical escape looks like the ideal repose.

However, joint winners of the Minibreak Excellence Tiara goes to Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss. A few weeks ago these two starlets embarked on a roadtrip along the Pacific?Coast?Highway. It was an exercise in laidback chic, all cosy polo necks and homespun meals. All we need now is a movie adaptation. Think Crossroads, only without Britney and her bell-bottom sleeves, and sound tracked by Taylor and her trusty guitar.
