Happy birthday, Ms. Moss! Today Image.ie is all about Kate Moss, undeniably the most famous model of her generation.

Moss was first ‘discovered’ by the supermodel maker Sarah Doukas of Storm Modelling Agency – she’s also responsible for Sophie Dahl and?Cara Delevingne – while walking through JFK airport. Aged just 14 it would be two years until she totally transfixed the fashion world in a slightly scandalous shoot for 1990s hipster bible The Face. The late photography legend, Corinne Day, shot a series of candid black and whites of an, at times, topless Kate laughing and ambling across a beach. This shoot went on to catch the attention of Calvin Klein’s marketing people?who engaged her for their underwear campaign with the then very cool Mark Wahlberg. It also marked her first cover and the beginning of her fashion world/newsagencies’ shelves domination.

So grab a coffee, kick back and flick through the best of Kate Moss’ covers. There is a lot of Vogue.
