How To Conquer Maximalism Like An Italian Style Star

Italians don’t do things by halves and nowhere is this more evident than in their clothes. And although Paris has been the fashion hot spot this week, we’re choosing to focus our sartorial lens elsewhere, looking further afield to Italy and to the street style stars that hail from Milan.

Eclecticism is the aim of the game here with It girls like Giorgia Tordini and Diletta Bonauiti throwing out the trend rulebook and offering us a course in trans-seasonal dressing. Play with unexpected colour combinations, textures and shapes, don fur-lined patent leather in shades of sorbets and layer heavy knits under embroidered cotton shirting. Nothing is off limits.
