Blanchett is a designer’s dream, and she frequently ends up on best-dressed lists, helped enormously by the fact that she is a friend of Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Armani, Gucci, Prada, D&G and Givenchy who are more than happy to style her for events. She’s as daring as she is on trend and we have to give her props for choosing designs with bold silhouettes, abstract prints and shiny finishes.
