Lisa McGowan, an insurance broker from Tullamore, county Offaly, was crowned as the overall Best Dressed lady at the 2016 Galway Races summer festival. Lisa worked with several designers to produce her winning look which included a hat, created by milliner Marie Claire, and a stunning cream, mauve, and bronze midi-length dress by Strawberry & Lime. Her choice of accessories included a handbag from Glitz, jewellery from Desert Diamonds Ireland, and shoes from Dunnes Stores. The overall prize for Best Dressed Lady was to the value of €10,000.

Also on the winning streak was Ciara Murphy, a Garda from Dunboyne, county Meath, who was chosen as the winner of The g Hotel and Spa Best Hat competition. Ciara’s standout headwear was created by Fiona Rafter Millinery in Dunshaughlin.

Judges include Triona Barrett, Broadcaster Louise Duff, Mandy Maher from Catwalk Models, Melanie Morris from IMAGE Publications and Fashion Editor Bairbre Power.
