BASH Readers at Powerscourt Centre

We’re all events this week at BASH.

Still coming down from the buzz of Sunday’s BASHprep, a look through the photos from our Powerscourt Centre event, a few weeks ago, is a gorgeous reminder of just what a good bash should be… and a beautiful evening of bridal shopping with the insider’s angle certainly ticks our boxes.

Over 150 BASH readers gathered in our favourite Dublin city shopping centre (who doesn’t love a wander ?round Powerscourt Centre?), for an after-hours bridal shopping evening, that had them giddy with the private-access thrill of it all? the place was buzzing with brides and their pals, all eager to garner some insider knowledge and nab themselves a bargain, in this gorgeous setting.

Because, in case you hadn’t realised, the Powerscourt Centre is a veritable wedding shopping hub, with bridal wear by Ciara Bridal, The Town Bride, Covet, Design Centre, Knightsbridge and Dawn Fitzgerald; flowers and trimmings by The Garden and A.Rubanesque; beauty by Pzazz hair Design and Christophe Eye Couture; cakes by The Pepper Pot? and more jewellery and wedding gift treasure troves than you could shake an engagement ring at.

Our guests were treated to lots of delicious canap’s, with bubbles and sweet treats, to boot; a fashion show featuring key bridal looks from the centre; plus a behind-the-scenes interview session with three of Powerscourt’s leading wedding experts – Mark Grehan of the Garden on flowers; Robert Simmons of Pzazz on hair and beauty; Colm Flanagan of Town Bride on bridal dressing.

Then ensued a shopping frenzy, with shops offering one-night-only discounts and in-store workshops? plus more bubble and treats, followed by the giveaway of a stupendous Twitter prize to one lucky winner.

Ah, it was some night for one night?
