Doing These 10 Things Could Make Waking Up Easier

Doing These 10 Things Could Make Waking Up Easier

Yes, we know it’s too early. And we definitely know that the last thing you want to do is get out of your warm, snuggly bed at this ungodly hour but it has to be done. While the hardest part of your morning is almost over for today, we have a few tips that could make subsequent early risings a tad easier (at least until the Christmas break arrives). Sadly no, they don’t involve going anywhere near the snooze button.

Thanks to this handy infographic (via WhereDat), we now have ten relatively simple tricks we can employ that should ensure waking up isn’t that hard to do.

And while we’re hovering briefly around the subject (it isn’t on our infographic, but worth noting), did you know you’re absolutely to stay away from the snooze button at all costs? Seriously. We’ve got science to back us up: Once you roll over and start to drift off again, you reboot your entire sleep cycle. Then, when your alarm goes off for the second time, you stand a higher chance of being woken up again during one of the deeper parts of your cycle. That’ll make you feel groggy like nothing else, and it will be near impossible to get out of bed, so don’t do it!

As per the information below, did you also know giving yourself something to look forward to makes the whole process easier? Whether it’s a tasty brekkie or listening to your favourite tune from Christmas FM en?route to work, planning these little AM bonuses will start your morning on the right note, so get organising ’em.

The coffee pointer?is probably going to shock all caffeine addicts, so you best take a deep breath and read that point (and the test of the helpful tips) for yourself below:
