Fancy A Career Change Or Just A New Hobby?

Are you looking to expand your skill set? Perhaps you’re after a career change? If health and wellbeing is your thing, then this may very well be of interest. Ireland’s Bronwyn Conroy beauty school have just launched a series of Lava Shell training courses beginning this autumn, kicking off with an exciting partnership with Electric Picnic.

For those who’ve never heard of such a thing, you’re probably wondering what lava shells are and how they benefit us? Intriguingly, lava shells are the world’s first self-heating massage tool. Marine polished sea shells or handcrafted porcelain shells glide smoothly over the body providing a seamless massage of heat and touch. A patented, natural, biodegradable heat technology is incorporated into the Lava Shells which heat up internally for up to an hour with a combination of natural minerals and water.

Portable, eco-friendly and non-porous, Lava Shells can be used to treat a multitude of concerns from easing aching muscles and joints to alleviating the suffering from IBS and bloating. Due to the shells unique shape and angles they become an extension of the therapist’s hands, deploying deeply therapeutic relief to where it is needed. Perfect for all industry professionals and used by the most exclusive therapists, salon and spas around the world.

We’re starting to unwind just thinking about it, aren’t you? While we often read about these treatments and book ourselves in to try it out, we’re even more excited by the idea of becoming a full trained practitioner, which would make for the perfect after hours hobby, totally removed from the daily stresses of our computer screens.

?We are delighted to announce Lava Shell training into our very busy Autumn syllabus,? said Anna Keely, Principal of Bronwyn Conroy. ?As Ireland’s longest established private Beauty College our mission is to continue to lead the way with new and innovative treatment training. In our opinion Lava Shells is a treatment which has to be experienced to be believed and will offer any qualified therapist the opportunity to give their clients something really special.?

Once graduated from this unique course, students are given the title of Bronwyn Conroy (BC) Lava Angels. To celebrate this launch, the organisers of Electric Picnic have invited the BC Lava Angels to provide Lava Shell Mini-Massages in The Green Room backstage as the Artists complete their performances. ?This is a hugely exciting opportunity for the Bronwyn Conroy (BC) Lava Angels as they prepare to offer indulgent and truly pampering massages to the amazing, talented line-up of artists performing at this year’s Electric Picnic Festival,? said Anna Keely. ?We are thrilled to have our students take part in such an exciting occasion.?
