Geri Halliwell Gets Married

Geri Halliwell is now Mrs Horner. The former Spice Girl has tied the knot with her Formula 1 beau, Christian Horner.

Many moons ago, as Ginger Spice was touring the world donned in her skin-tight British flag dress, it would have been hard to imagine that she would one day get hitched in something so elegant and classy. Doesn’t she look stunning? Geri and her husband, who’ve been friends since 2009, were wed in Bedfordshire, in the company of family, friends and a few familiar faces from their respective fields. Emma Bunton was of course in attendance with her husband, Jade. Amanda Holden, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders were also spotted on their way into and out of the church.

Geri’s nine-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna (whom she had with Sacha Gervasi) was a bridesmaid at the wedding. Horner also has children from a previous relationship. Their wedding was kept secret from the press until they announced it in the births, deaths and marriages page in The Times. Geri also shared some clues on her own Twitter and Instagram earlier that day (Saturday) suggesting that she was indeed about to become a wife.

Their announcement read: “Mr C.E.J. Horner OBE and Geri Halliwell, The engagement is announced between Christian, son of Mr and Mrs G.M. Horner and Geraldine, daughter of the late Mr L.F. Halliwell and Mrs A. Parkinson.”
