5 reasons not to miss All Together Now 2022

Set to be one of the events of the summer, there’s everything from can’t-miss acts to opportunities to chill out. Here’s why we can’t wait…

When we picture our ideal summer, there’s always a great festival with friends in the mix, and the recent good weather has more than put us in the mood for a few days outside enjoying great music, delicious food, and an all-around good time.

It’s not long until All Together Now festival returns to the beautiful Curraghmore Estate in Co Waterford, and excitement levels are definitely building. The festival is set across 18 stages, featuring natural amphitheatres, secret woodland stages, rolling lawns, gentle hills and hidden forests.

There are still limited weekend tickets and boutique camping options available, so if you haven’t booked your spot yet, here are all the reasons why it’s not to be missed.

The music and entertainment

All Together Now 2022

A main draw of any good festival, the 2022 lineup for All Together Now definitely does not disappoint. Artists are set across 18 stages, and include Jungle, Self Esteem, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Flight Facilities, and CMAT, as well as over 100 Irish artists.

There are also late night stages from Arcadia and AVA, and you can enjoy an incredible comedy lineup that includes David O’Doherty, Blindboy, Deirdre O’Kane and Sharon Mannion.

The food

Not only are there an incredible variety of food vendors to enjoy during the festival, there are also several curated food events throughout the weekend.

Grub Circus will be programmed and hosted by food writer Joe McNamee, a two day extravaganza of food-themed events, demos, cooking competitions, tastings, workshops, debates and, at times, downright madness, featuring some of Ireland’s top food personalities. Think chefs, producers, growers, makers, distillers, food writers and more. Audience participation will be encouraged, and there will be opportunities to taste the finest Irish food and beverages, including wines, whiskeys and cocktails.

Pitt Bros x John Relihan Smoked Barbeque will be an exclusive pre-booked, sit-down barbeque feast with seven sessions available over the weekend.

You’ll enjoy your meal in a customised indoor space specially created for the festival, the only fully seated and covered dining space on site, with a wide ranging menu courtesy of head chef John Relihan.

Your unique barbecue experience will include a three-course meal, in the company of a full bar and guest DJs.

Also not to be missed is the The Guinness Brewers Yard, which will see BASTE creating an immersive live fire cooking experience. Creating a journey from around the world of live fire cooking, inviting guests to showcase dishes and methods using the best of local produce.

This stage area will host live cooking methods, demos and fireside chats with invited guests and sharing tasters of the dishes prepared over fire.

The setting

Where better to spend a summer weekend than the beautiful Curraghmore Estate in Waterford? The grounds of this old estate have beautiful woodlands, a serene lake, and open fields, making it the perfect setting for a chilled-out experience.

Family-friendly

All Together Now 2022

Kids under 12 are welcome at All Together Now with a Family Camping ticket, and Kid Together Now is a schedule of events in the walled garden to keep the little ones entertained.

Including music courtesy of the Disco Shed, tricks at Professor Caperjape’s Academy of Pranks, graffiti skills with Street Art INK, jewellery designing with Busybeadz, crafts, storytelling, and much more.

Wellness

A festival is a chance to unwind, and All Together Now will make it easy thanks to the Breathe Wellness Area.

Set beside the beautiful Curraghmore lake, on the main lawns and partially into the woods, the area offers some privacy and quiet. There will be a number of relaxation activities and workshops including yoga, massage, and sound healing.

The highly skilled group of therapists will provide all sorts of healing modalities such as reiki, craniosacral healing, aromatherapy massage to shamanic clearing. This is a truly unique space where you can rejuvenate, energise and indulge in some pampering.
