Chrissy Teigen says Meghan Markle reached out to her after her pregnancy loss

Both women have shared their stories of pregnancy loss, and Chrissy Teigen has revealed how Meghan Markle contacted her after her devastating experience.

Both Chrissy Teigen and Meghan Markle have recently shared their painful stories of pregnancy loss, something that many women who have experienced similar experiences were grateful for.

It helped raise awareness of an incredibly common but rarely discussed tragedy that so many families experience.

On the chat show Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Chrissy Teigen said that after her own experience, the Duchess of Sussex reached out to her after the loss of her son Jack: “she had written me about baby Jack, and loss. She is really wonderful, and so kind.”

Chrissy wrote a heartbreaking essay about the loss of her son Jack at 20 weeks in October. “After a couple nights at the hospital, my doctor told me exactly what I knew was coming — it was time to say goodbye. He just wouldn’t survive this, and if it went on any longer, I might not either.”

She also defended the photos she shared from the hospital during this time. “I needed to know of this moment forever, the same way I needed to remember us kissing at the end of the aisle, the same way I needed to remember our tears of joy after Luna and Miles. And I absolutely knew I needed to share this story… I cannot express how little I care that you hate the photos… these photos are only for the people who need them.”

Meghan Markle wrote in November about the pregnancy loss she suffered in July. “I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”

It seems that the two have been in touch now that they both live in California. In the interview, Chrissy also brought up Meghan’s negative treatment in the press. “She is just as kind as everyone says she is, and that’s why you look at everything, and you’re like, my god, what is wrong with people that they have to make this person out to be so malicious, or so crazy?”
