In a world where health supplements are consistently created for men, innovative new Irish brand Sisterly has completely changed the game. Founded by three dynamic female friends, Jennifer O’Connell, Louise O’Riordan and Aoife Matthews, the brand benefits from the unique business expertise of each, brought together by their shared passion for enhanced health and performance.
This makes them the perfect trio to test drive the new Range Rover Sport, which combines dramatic modernity with electrified performance to elevate any Sisterly journey, whether it’s commuting to their Dublin-based office or braving the beach for an early morning sea swim.
“Driving the new Range Rover Sport is pure joy – smooth, comfortable, luxurious and streamlined. The interiors are gorgeous, comfortable and stylish too. The car literally glides along no matter what the surface, including a sandy beach track on a wet day!” The Sisterly trio’s commitment to women’s wellness and improved performance is what inspired them to launch the brand.
“We are three friends of old with a shared appetite for adventure and travel. We were always sharing tips during lockdown on how to keep ourselves healthy but didn’t want to swallow eight capsules a day. We found ourselves looking for a simple and effective supplement solution – and out of this Sisterly was born.
Seeking new experiences is these founding women’s forte. Fueled by The Elevator for two years now, Jenny is a keen triathlete who has swum across Lake Geneva and done an Ironman. Aoife cycled from Paris to Nice this summer and she runs, plays golf and coaches girls’ football. Louise leans more towards tennis, pilates or a hot tub to unwind. Then they have their sea swims which they all love.
Pioneering innovation is also something Sisterly and Range Rover Sport have in common. Developed alongside a team of expert scientists, nutritionists and female health experts, Sisterly’s multivitamin, The Elevator, boosts energy, immunity and hormonal balance. It has been specifically designed as a supplement, not just for women with an active lifestyle, but high-performance athletes and Olympians too.
“After surveying 130 women, we knew that we needed to deliver on improved energy. Women are dealing with demanding careers, domestic duties, kids’ schedules, ageing parents and the pressure of the daily juggle. With this in mind, we went big on energy with strong optimal doses of CoQ10 and the B vitamins and only use the natural forms of nutrients for easier absorption.”
So, what does a day in the life look like for three Irish entrepreneurs with their fingers on the pulse, prioritising performance at every turn? “An ideal day kicks off with a Sisterly sea swim followed by coffee with our friends from Coco Brew. We love the community aspect of our brand and bringing together great women. The dread of the cold water is balanced by the warmth of the chats. Afterwards, we might check in on some retailers to hear feedback, train staff and check on stock.
“Our days are filled with marketing and sales initiatives, creating content, honing messaging, improving the website, managing orders, customer queries, fulfilment, finances and event planning. The to-do list is never-ending. After that, we might be packing boxes and gift bags for the next event or show – the glamour of it all!” The result? The innovative Elevator supplement that is every bit as uncompromising when it comes to delivering on its promise of improved performance.
So, what’s the next adventure for the Sisterly threesome? An exciting trip from coast to coast. “The Range Rover Sport is the perfect car for a road trip with the girls. The back seats are so spacious, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Aoife loves the Range Rover Sports’ eco credentials and advanced hybrid technology, Jenny loves the space and comfort of the Range Rover Sport which calls out for a road trip, and Louise loves how tactile the finishes are and how quiet it is. We could really see ourselves heading off on the Wild Atlantic Way for an adventure.”
