Join us for an enlightening evening on December 3, where you'll hear from accomplished Irish business leaders on how they created a way of working that is truly fulfilling, as well as successful.

If you were to write your fantasy LinkedIn profile, what would it say? What would you do? And what sort of side-hustles, initiatives, charity work and boards would you wish to align with?

Now, make that a reality. At a very special IMAGE Business Club Live, we’ll be bringing Career Psychologist Sinead Brady to Cork for a night that will be sure to get you thinking… and planning for next year and beyond.

Sinead has helped women turn the switch in identifying just how to create a lifelong career profile that grows and develops with us, making space for the family years, as well as how to accelerate when the moment is right. Sinead’s style is smart, empathetic and wise, offering plenty that can be easily implemented in carving a rewarding future.

We’ll also speak with a panel of outstanding female entrepreneurs and leaders about how they evolved their careers and took the brave steps involved in creating businesses and a way of working that has become truly fulfilling, as well as successful. Our panel will feature fashion designer and retailer Sinead Keary; Lucy Hagerty, founder of La Bougie candles and fragrance; and Evelyn Moynihan, CEO of the Kilkenny Design, in conversation with IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris. All women are truly best-in-class (as well as being of Cork heritage!), and we’ll get to learn about some of the key moments and challenges that shaped them for success.

Join us on Tuesday, December 3 at Castlemartyr Resort for prosecco, canapés, networking and a chance to evolve into 2025. We’ll also have gifts for all attendees and a chance to meet the IMAGE team and our speakers.

If you’d like to extend your evening, Castlemartyr Resort is offering a special B&B rate of €190 for single occupancy and €210 for double occupancy. Contact reservations at reservations@castlemartyrresort.ie or 021 421 9000, and mention the IMAGE Event to receive your discount.

Sinead Keary, Founder, Designer and CEO, Sinead Keary The Label

Sinead Keary is the Founder of Sinead Keary the Label, a luxury fashion label of capsule wardrobe essentials. Sinead kickstarted her career as an in-store personal shopper across luxury retail department stores and brands, before setting up her own personal shopping business.

She works with women all around the country to help them build their own capsule wardrobes, while finding confidence and fun with their style in the process. It was the combination of Sinead’s time working with global luxury fashion brands and spending time in women’s own wardrobes that the idea for her eponymous fashion brand was born. Sinead Keary the label removes the “wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear” conundrum.

Lucy Hagerty, Founder and Perfumer, La Bougie

Having previously had a career as a royal chef in the UK, Lucy Hagerty now has an equally creative one as an expert perfumer. After she married an Irish man, had children and settled in Kinsale after a life abroad, she set out to create the perfect candle. The perfume world is a closely guarded one, but she spent seven years learning its secrets and how to create the candles herself.

La Bougie launched in the summer of 2012 in a converted outbuilding on her farm in County Cork, starting with three fragrances which remain as bestsellers to this day. Fast forward to 2024 and you can find these candles being made in a 5,000 sq foot factory in Kinsale by a hardworking and dedicated team, many of whom have been with La Bougie from the start. 2023 saw the opening of their first boutique in Lymington on the south coast of England, which serves the large UK web business and showcases the brand.

Every brand takes a family to raise and La Bougie is very much a family business. Lucy’s husband Peter recently came back out of retirement where he had taken up farming to help run the marketing and financial side of the business. They are helped by their daughter Tabitha who has been in the business since leaving school seven years ago and looks after the 200 stockists across Ireland. This allows Lucy to continue her creative life, launching new perfumes and creating custom fragrances for luxurious properties and Hollywood royalty… and this is where she is at her happiest.
