Kim Kardashian has joined her sister and Megan Fox in appearing to be seeping the life force out of tattooed, pale men and participating in Goth Boy Winter.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are now top of the quite long list of 2021’s surprising celebrity couples. But it is, apparently, a thing. They had a little kiss in an SNL skit, then they held hands on a rollercoaster, then they maybe held hands in a car park and now, they’re definitely holding hands. Pete’s wearing Skims, Kim’s travelling to Staten Island for dinner and Pete possibly has a hickey. Do we believe it? Not sure yet. Pete has a new show out this November and Kim has knickers and make-up to shill. Either way, they are unquestionably in the lead to take the crown off last year’s winners for Deranged Celebrity Couple Of The Year, Megan and MGK.

October 29, 2021, The Rollercoaster Handholding

Later that month, photographs go viral of them holding hands on a roller coaster at Knott’s Scary Farm in California, which they went along to with Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker and other pals. According to Gawker Pete and Kim spent the night before together in a Los Angeles hotel.  A source told People they were “just friends” but Page Six says that Kim is “intrigued” by Pete.

November 2, 2021, Staten Island

While the Internet is still reeling from the hand-holding rollercoaster trip, word comes from TMZ that Kim travelled to Pete’s hometown, Staten Island, where they had dinner in one of Pete’s favourite restaurants. According to Page Six, Pete arranged a private rooftop dinner at the restaurant. According to TMZ, they “were personally attended to by the restaurant’s owner … who’s a friend of Pete’s.” They also reported that “staffers weren’t allowed upstairs, where the two showed lots of affection.”

November 3, 2021, New York

The very next night, Kim and Pete meet for dinner again. This time, they head to Zero Bond, a members-only Manhattan nightclub, with friends. TMZ once again have the details, saying that “Pete called ahead with his credit card to cut Kim or anyone else at the table off at the pass.”

November 17, 2021, Pete x Skims?

Things become even weirder when Pete spends his birthday with Kim, Kris Jenner and Flavor Flav. This combination would have to be seen to be believed, and thankfully Flavor Flav posts lots of pictures on Instagram, which brings even more bewildering information. November 19, 2021, Hand holding, maybe

Photographs (taken the day of Pete’s Skims Pyjama Birthday Party) emerge of Kim and Pete holding hands in California. Except actually, the video from Daily Mail shows that their palms just meet for the briefest of seconds. Kim is wearing Yeezys, which the Internet adores.

November 21, 2021, Hand holding, definitely

We were not quite convinced by the brief hand-holding, so two days later, Kim and Pete made it slightly clearer. They were for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica and the Daily Mail photographed them holding hands on arrival, leaving and laughing in Pete’s car and what appears to be a hickey on Pete’s neck.

November 27, 2021, Yep, still a thing

Pete and Kim were at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and took individual photos with a music journalist who spotted them. He told E! News, “They looked happy, sat close to each other, and walked away together. It looked like a date to me.”
