Looking for something to do with the kids this Easter? These free creative workshops are ideal
09th Apr 2022
Kids can get creative at these fun workshops, and they'll even get a Butlers Chocolate Easter Egg to take home.
With the kids off on Easter holidays, it’s nice for them to get the chance to have some fun. From Wednesday April 13 to Saturday April 16, the Easter Emporium is returning to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, and it’s the perfect Easter activity for little ones.
Book your spot for one of their free workshops, running between 10am and 4pm each day. Hosted in partnership with ReCreate Ireland, kids will learn how to creatively reuse everyday items, with participants taking home a delicious Butlers Chocolate Easter Egg.
It’s a great way to put ‘waste’ materials to good use, turning them into something special, and learning the importance of reusing where we can.

And if you’re looking for something different to do when the visiting is done, and the hunt is over, Liffey Valley Easter Emporium guests will also receive a special invite to join an hour-long virtual workshop on Easter Sunday, where the ReCreate team will deliver an introductory course in origami, demonstrating how families can reuse their Easter Egg packaging to design a unique Easter capsule (think Fabergé eggs), so nothing goes to waste!
Every child attending the Easter Emporium will receive a special pack of materials as well as a handy hints and tip sheet with everything they’ll need to gather ahead of the themed workshop on Sunday 17th April.
The fun can also last all day, with 80 stores, 20 restaurants and a state-of-the-art cinema at Liffey Valley to enjoy.
Whether you’re hunting for an alternative to the traditional chocolate treat to gift a loved one, seeking out of the perfect outfit to celebrate the day or treating the family to a local adventure with a tasty meal and a great movie during the holidays, there’s something for every-bunny.
