It also has the benefit of allowing you to apply what you are learning immediately, as you continue in your current role, while still providing access to a vast alumni network.

Learn more

If you’re interested and want to learn more, don’t miss the MBA Information Session on Tuesday Feb 21 from 7 – 8.30pm, hosted at UCD Smurfit School.

The event will feature an overview of Smurfit MBA Programmes with MBA Programmes Academic Director Associate Professor Ciaran Heavey, followed by an MBA Taste Lecture delivered by Ashley Hughes, Assistant Professor Of Management.

MBA Careers Manager Bernie Burke will lead a careers panel discussion with MBA alumni, who will share their experiences of the Smurfit MBA and highlight the importance and impact of the MBA on their professional and personal progression.

The event will also include an MBA Admissions session on the topic of preparing for the GMAT or EA, which are required to secure a place on a Smurfit MBA programme. The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is a four-hour test which examines writing skills, mathematical reasoning, and integrated and verbal reasoning. The Executive Assessment (EA) is a 90-minute exam similar to the GMAT.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the MBA team and to mingle with attendees at the post event wine and canapes reception. Campus tours are available on the evening.
