Last week, the IMAGE Business Club took to Galway for an evening of networking, animated discussion and enlightening insights to motivate, inspire and connect.

On Thursday, February 27, team IMAGE arrived in Galway for a special event giving our members an opportunity to network with fellow Business Club members over cocktails and canapés, while gaining key insights from four distinguished business leaders, as they shared important lessons learned throughout their remarkable careers.

Hosted at the Galmont Hotel on Thursday evening, IMAGE’s contributing editor Melanie Morris was joined in conversation by influencer, entrepreneur and multi-million-euro business owner, Lisa McGowan.

In the past decade, Lisa’s life has changed utterly. From a comfortable career in her family’s insurance business to becoming one of Ireland’s hottest social media properties, Lisa has developed a host of successful fashion, beauty and lifestyle businesses as a result. This was a conversation full of lightbulb moments, as Lisa shared the sort of tips and insights learned from her unique position, experiences and time in the trenches.

Afterwards, we were joined by a powerhouse panel of three accomplished business experts – Niamh Ennis, transformation coach and business mentor, Nancy Costello, co-owner of The Belle Brush and owner of Belle Hair, and Sharon Keegan, co-founder of The Confidence Clinics.

As one of Ireland’s leading career coaches, Niamh shared her top tips for how to thrive in your career and set a successful mindset, while accomplished entrepreneurs Nancy and Sharon shared the highs and lows of building a business and the lessons they’ve learned that’s moulded them into the distinguished leaders they are today.

The evening also included plenty of opportunities to meet and chat with your peers and IMAGE Business Club members over Micil and Poachers cocktails at the start of the evening, with gift bags for all on departure.
