An event dedicated to staying relevant in a changing world, we heard from three women who refuse to stand still.

If there’s one thing certain about change, it’s that it never stops. However, change in the 2020s has proven to be at a faster pace than ever before. For this reason, we dedicated our latest IMAGE Business Club networking event to hearing from female Irish business leaders on game-changing insights and how they adapted their businesses to stay a step ahead.

On Wednesday 4 October, IMAGE Business Club members stepped out at The Westbury Hotel to hear more, to connect and network with IMAGE Business Club peers and the IMAGE team.

In business, this means that to succeed, business owners and professionals need to stay abreast of what’s happening and create great products and opportunities to delight customers with constant innovation.

At the event, contributing editor Melanie Morris talked with three women who refuse to stand still, and who have plenty to share on dynamics in business, both macro and micro. As MD of An Post, and with a career with some of the world’s leading consumer brands, Debbie Byrne continues to refresh a national institution, making it a cornerstone for Irish communities; while Louise Stokes, founder and designer, Loulerie, has plenty of learned experiences around evolving and shaping a business to maximum prosperity.

To add insight, Laoise Mullane, people and organisation director, PwC, shared findings from the recent PwC Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey, 2023, and how this affects future business functions.

After some welcome Malfy & Fever-Tree cocktails and canapés, we sat down to an information panel discussion with our experts, and the evening rounded off with an opportunity to meet the speakers and network further over more delicious cocktails. Each guest left with a luxury gift bag, and one lucky attendee took home a €150 voucher for The Skin Nerd, PLUS a Skingredients hamper worth €150!
