23rd Sep 2024
On Thursday 12 September, we hosted an evening of interiors and creativity with Homesense in their Dublin store, and we’ve been embracing the cosy ever since.
As we transition into colder months, it’s time to swap lightweight fabrics and summer colours for cosier furnishings. We want to create a warm and welcoming space to take refuge in after a long day, that brightens up the darkest evenings and allows us to be our most comfortable selves. When it comes to achieving exactly that, Homesense has become our go-to.
For this reason, we teamed up with Homesense to bring you an evening of styling advice, top tips and ideas designed to inspire on Thursday 12 September, and it couldn’t have been better.
Guests were greeted with prosecco and sweet treats upon arrival, and then heard from Homesense décor partners, content creator and interiors enthusiast Susan Darley, alongside creative home and DIY expert Paul Kinsella, in conversation with IMAGE contributing editor Edaein O’Connell.
They shared their advice on how to shop Homesense’s treasure trove of unique finds, from statement furniture to soft furnishings and accessories to create your perfect space with small, impactful changes, followed by Susan Darley’s hands-on dried flower workshop, where we learned the art of preserving nature’s beauty.
All of our guests went home with a gorgeous gift bag filled with all the essentials to help you get your seasonal homeware shopping started, and we are absolutely thrilled to reveal that the event raised a total of €1,540 for Homesense’s longtime charity partner, Enable Ireland – a charity dedicated to enabling and empowering children and adults with disabilities to achieve independence, choice and inclusion in communities across Ireland.
