Expanding its Dublin footprint that little bit further, The Dean Townhouse boasts a new cocktail bar and lounge and an outdoor courtyard and terrace, as well as a dedicated event space.
Located next door to The Dean Dublin on Harcourt Street, The Dean Townhouse officially opened its doors last week, and plenty of familiar faces stepped out to celebrate.
Nestled just a stone’s throw away from the city’s best attractions, The Dean Townhouse is within walking distance to Dublin’s cultural hotspots Temple Bar, Dublin Castle and the Guinness Storehouse.
Since opening in 2014 with a 51-bedroom hotel, Sophie’s Rooftop Restaurant and dedicated events space, The Dean Dublin has been a daring and different boutique hotel, and has become one of Dublin’s coolest places to stay.
Following the success of The Dean Dublin, they expanded their offering to Cork and Galway, and have exciting expansion plans for Birmingham and Belfast to boot.
Back at base, The Dean Townhouse takes up residence at number 36 Harcourt Street, just next to the original Dean location. This Georgian building has been completely transformed to create a gorgeous townhouse, with the addition of a newly built mews extension, which will add a further 49 bedrooms, bringing The Dean Dublin to a total of 100 bedrooms.
Alongside the stunningly designed bedrooms, The Dean Townhouse opens with a new cocktail bar and lounge known as The Townhouse Bar, an outdoor courtyard and The Marshall Room, a dedicated event space catering up to 150 guests seated, or 280 standing.
To mark the launch, The Dean Townhouse hosted a whole host of familiar faces, including designer Aisling Kavanagh, journalist Jade Hayden, and musician Jess Kavanagh, among others.
