The afternoon featured a thought-provoking panel discussion and a gorgeous afternoon tea.
The Lady Gregory Legacy explored voices of female leadership in Irish business and theatre at The Westbury in Dublin, in collaboration with The Abbey Theatre.
The afternoon commenced with a panel discussion led by journalist, broadcaster and author Dearbhail McDonald, followed by afternoon tea. Inspired by the remarkable Lady Augusta Gregory, co-founder of the Abbey Theatre and a pioneering force in shaping Ireland’s cultural landscape, the panel discussed the mentorship, influence, and inspiration that have shaped the journeys of female leaders in Irish business and theatre.
The panel was made up of:
- Caitríona McLaughlin, Co-Director and Artistic Director of the Abbey Theatre.
- Leisha Daly, former Head of Government Affairs and Policy for Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain in EMEA and current board member of IDA, IMI, Business in the Community Ireland and Sage Advocacy.
- Lorna Conn, CEO/Executive Director of CPL Resources, Non Exec Director of Bord Na Mona, Non Exec Director Glenveigh Properties.
- Noelle Brown, renowned Irish actor, playwright and activist, member of the Abbey Theatre Board.
