As Ireland’s leading women’s publisher and owner of female-empowered awards and events such as Businesswoman of the Year and masterclasses, we are proud to celebrate women in business by relaunching our Business Summit, taking place virtually on November 18 and 19.
This year has been a rollercoaster for companies around the world. We have had to adapt to an unstable climate and greatly expand our online presence — a modern space unfamiliar to many experienced, brick-and-mortar businesses.
That’s why we are delighted to relaunch our inaugural Business Summit, in partnership with PwC, online with a focus on navigating a new economy post-2020.
Our virtual event will be expanded to a full two days of exciting discussions, interviews and masterclasses.
On November 18 and 19, we will bring together Ireland’s businesswomen and international female luminaries from the worlds of politics, tech, business and communications and cover an array of topical challenges that many businesses are facing at the moment.
The agenda will include a wide-ranging programme, with panel discussions on ‘The New Working Landscape’ with Áine McCleary, director of distribution channels with Bank of Ireland, PwC’s director and head of client experience Heather Melville, and Claire McGee, Head of Education and Innovation at Ibec.
A discussion on ‘Business Logistics, Beyond Brexit’ with a number of leading businesswoman, and a discussion on ‘More than Words: The Power of Effective Communication’ with communications experts, will follow.
And don’t miss our masterclass ‘The Essence of Excellent Presentations’ with Rowan Manahan, presenter, mentor and founding organiser of TedxDublin.
During the virtual event, we will talk with prominent industry leaders like global tech and business leader Dr Anita Sands and businesswoman, activist and author Gina Miller.
Dr Anita Sands will be speaking on ‘Lessons From A Leader’, during which she will share the vital lessons she learned on her journey to becoming a board director, speaker, author and former Fullbright Scholar in Silicon Valley.
Entrepreneur and activist Gina Miller will then close out the event with an insightful and illuminating keynote speech you won’t want to miss.
With over 20 speakers and 11 sessions talking place, the virtual event will be chalked full of quality content and attendees will have plenty of opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and ask pertinent questions.
