What to look forward to at the 2025 IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year awards

With the 2025 edition of the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year awards only mere days away, here's what guests can look forward to on the big night.

The countdown is on! The highly anticipated IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2025 takes place on Friday, April 25, and we can’t wait to honour Ireland’s most inspiring and accomplished businesswomen.

Spanning 14 categories, the awards will celebrate exceptional talent, leadership and expertise across every industry, in addition to our prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award and the coveted overall IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year title.

Guests attending the black-tie gala at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road are in for an unforgettable evening, and if you can’t join us in person, be sure to follow @image.ie on Instagram and #BWOTY25 across social media for exclusive updates and behind-the-scenes moments.

Here’s just a snippet of what guests can expect on that night itself.

The energy

The electric atmosphere of the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards has become the stuff of legend. It’s in this vibrant setting that powerful connections are made, as women from every corner of the country come together to network, chat, laugh and dance. Among the 950 guests will be Ireland’s most influential leaders across finance, tech, science, sustainability, beauty, construction, fashion and beyond – along with this year’s esteemed judging panel – all gathered to champion and celebrate one another.

The inspiration

Anyone who’s attended the awards before knows just how powerful it is to hear from our winners on the night. From unexpected business insights to heartfelt acknowledgements, their speeches never fail to leave us with memorable quotes and lasting inspiration. We’ve no doubt this year will be no different.

We’re also honoured to welcome Siobhán Talbot, former Group Managing Director of Glanbia, to an elite circle as the tenth recipient of the prestigious IMAGE Lifetime Achievement Award – a true celebration of her remarkable career and impact.

The entertainment

Bringing even more star power to the evening, we’re thrilled to announce that singer-songwriter Róisín O will take to the stage as our entertainment for the night. Known for her powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence, Róisín’s performance promises to be a standout moment and will be the perfect soundtrack to an evening of celebration, connection and unforgettable memories.

Meanwhile, the awards will be hosted by our talented and magnetic co-hosts, IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris and Irish journalist Richard Chambers. As always, the duo are set to bring charm, insight, gravitas and just the right amount of sparkle to the evening.

Time to be treated

Guests on the night are in for a five-star experience from the moment they arrive. The evening kicks off with a stylish welcome drinks reception, with delicious cocktails from iStil38 and Poachers, and bubbles from M&S. This is your ideal chance to mingle and network with Ireland’s leading lights in business across a range of industries. Then a delicious four-course dinner with expertly paired wines will follow.

Throughout the night, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to win fantastic prizes, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate incredible talent. And of course, no IMAGE event is complete without a luxurious gift bag – each attendee will receive a special gift from Brooke & Shoals on the night.

Time for more

Now in their 17th year, the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards have built an extraordinary legacy, celebrating a remarkable alumni of women who have shaped the Irish business landscape. These trailblazers have launched global ventures, driven innovation, created employment, empowered teams, challenged convention and played pivotal roles in Ireland’s economic success.
