10 of the most comfortable knit dresses to invest in for winter

10 of the most comfortable knit dresses to invest in for winter

Knit dresses are all we want to wear right now

Soft, oversized knits are all that’s on our sartorial minds right now. As much as we would love an excuse to get glammed up, our reality looks more like knitted loungewear and pyjamas for the new season. But all is not lost – there are still plenty of ways to show your style and personality through comfortable clothing. In fact, you may just find that you love it even more than sequins and glitter.

Knitted dresses are the perfect way to merge the two sides of your wardrobe together. They’re comfortable, and are perfect for days spent indoors on the couch, but are also sleek enough to evoke a feeling of being sexy and dressed up. It’s nice to bring strong colours into your knitted dress palette, but there’s a reason that so many are from a more muted, neutral palette – blacks, greys, beiges and creams go with everything, and can easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories.

These high street knit dresses look fabulous on their own, but if you want to add something to the mix, I recommend strong gold jewellery, like a pair of chunky hoops, or layered chain necklaces. A statement shoe and simple tights (it is Ireland) will finish it off beautifully.
