Youtube is 10 years old this week. Yes, it has been a decade since the video channel debuted, and we’ve been loving it ever since. From beauty tutorials before nights out to ‘shipper videos when we’re feeling hormonal, YouTube has brought joy, and a better cat eye, into our lives. However, if there is one area in which YouTube truly excells, it is cute animal videos. Here are the 10 we have on replay:
1. Otters holding hands
Some people say they don’t believe in the concept of soul mates and everlasting love. These people have not seen otters holding hands, and then briefly not holding hands, but eventually finding each other again.
2. The Sneezing Baby Panda
Wait for it. Wait for it. We present The Sneezing Baby Panda.
3. Boo
Who knew a shaved Pomeranian would capture so many hearts? As the world’s economy had a heart attack, this little dog’s videos brought unbridled joy to us all. Here are some of the pooch’s greatest hits.
4. German Shepherd Fetches Ball, Returns to Find His Soldier Home from Deployment
I’m not remotely American but whenever I see a serviceperson return home to be hugged by their dog, I think God bless America. This dog is named Ranger and makes his happiness known through Chewbacca-esque keening.
5. Cat mom hugs baby kitten
Watch this cat mom hug her sleeping baby kitten, and try telling me the world is not a beautiful place.
6. Dog passes out from overwhelming joy
Another ?Dogs are better than humans? video. This time Casey the dog passes out he’s so happy to see his owner after two years.
7. Foxes Jumping on my Trampoline
Next time you hear foxes caterwauling outside, don’t just assume they’re doing the adult deed. They might be just trampolining.
8. Cute Baby Elephant Seal Cuddles Up To Tourist
How cute can an elephant seal get? This 200-pound seal cuddled up to a tourist in the Antarctica a few weeks ago and even went in for a sloppy kiss.
9. Cubs first steps
Can’t remember your first steps? Just fill your brain with the memories of a baby polar bears.
10. Twin Red Panda Cubs at Lincoln Children’s Zoo
Forget infant human twins. Twin red panda cubs are so much better. We’d watch this tv show.
