16 expensive-looking sandals that could pass for The Row or Bottega Veneta
23rd Jul 2020
These sandals are the perfect high-class addition to a summer outfit
We all spend time lusting after designer pieces on Instagram of an evening, liking and saving beautiful garments and accessories, knowing we’ll never drop that amount of money on a sartorial gift to ourselves. But the high street catches on fast to designer trends and looks, and even the most covetable designer piece will find its way, in one form or another, to the high street eventually.
Admittedly, much of this summer has swerved past sandal-weather and gone straight to boots-and-jeans vibes, but that’s no reason not to invest in a beautiful pair for next year. I have spotted countless designer dupes and lookalikes on Instagram over the past few weeks, that are every bit as chic and classic as the pieces we’ve all been lusting after, but at a fraction of the price.
Whether it’s quilted leather mules á la Bottega Veneta, chic black flip flops like The Row, or chunky dad sandals as our favourites from Chanel, there are some fabulous dupes out there that are much more purse-friendly.
