Something strange but beautiful has been happening to my WhatsApp groups of late. Instead of reams of suggestions with a touch of passive aggression when negotiating cinema trips and BYOB meals, the chatting landscape has become calmer. I frown less. I’m happier. Why? Because myself and my gal pals send each other links to Pierce Brosnan’s Instagram photos. And they are glorious, beautiful, a tonic for the soul. Here are various reason you need to get in on the act. You will do nothing but thank me.
His Love For His Wife Is The Kind Of Love We Were Put On This Earth To Experience
Piere Brosnan’s first wife Cassandra Harris died in 1991 after a tragic battle with ovarian cancer. During their marriage, he adopted her children and they had one son together, Sean. In 1994, the year before Goldeneye was released, Brosnan met an American journalist Keely Shaye Smith. They were married in Mayo in 2001 and have gone on to have two sons – Paris and Dylan. Not a week goes by where Pierce doesn’t shout from the Instagram rooftops about how much he loves Keely. I swear, his public declarations and collage making skills make my heart beat harder.

He’s A Great Dad
Pierce is nothing but supportive of his children. He is constantly talking about how proud he is of his kids on the social network. His son Dylan is a model and is one of the faces of Burberry at the moment.
Here’s a photo he took of his son Dylan modelling at Heathrow airport. Such a dad.

His son Sean is a filmmaker and Pierce could not be more sound about sharing his work on the platform.

He loves his collages. And his family.

His Selfie Game Is Strong
Also, it looks like Pierce is an early riser! He ticks all the #ActualGoals boxes.

His Throwbacks Feed The Soul
As far as I’m concerned, Pierce is still having his day, but back in the day he was really something. Ask your mother about Remington Steele and see her eyes glaze over. Watch the not-so-secret smile dance across her face. Check her pulse.

He Is A Fabulous Representative Of Ireland
I don’t know how Failte Ireland make their decisions, but if they want my opinion I have written it here. Ask Pierce to front your next campaign. Here he is making Dalkey look great.

Here Pierce promotes the inclusive work of Lin-Manuel Miranda by referencing the Irish tradition of seeking opportunity in new climes. A perfect example of the diplomacy our nation is capable of.
