9 beautiful Champagne glasses to order in time for NYE

21st Dec 2020

Ring in the New Year (and bid a welcome adieu to 2020) with these gorgeous Champagne glasses. Order them now and they should be on your doorstep before December 31.

There is hardly a soul on this earth who is not looking forward to bidding adieu to 2020. A year that promised so much – a summer Olympics, roaring twenties-themed parties, music festivals and holidays, weddings and christenings, a blue wash of a US Presidential election.

None of the above occurred and we leave this year with many of us holding on for our fingernails, keeping our eyes firmly fixed one that vaccine-shaped light at the end of the tunnel. Even Christmas is a freakishly toned-down version this year, like watching The Late Late Toy Show on mute. Without the manic high-pitched tone of Ryan Tubridy’s voice is not quite the same, the regular flash of the whites of his eyes now taking on a somewhat sinister tone.

But a new year is almost upon us, mere days away. I don’t want to jinx it and say it can’t possibly be worse but…. it can’t, can it?

We’re going to stay positive and toast its arrival with a (small, socially distant) flourish. No parties or midnight kisses, no drunken singing of something that resembles Auld Lang Syne. All we can do is a raise a Champagne glass and hope 2021 is a kinder one.
