It’s Almost Time For The LauraLynn Heroes Ball

It’s difficult to describe the heartbreak that comes with seeing?your child, sibling or any young family member dealing with an illness. They are being unbelievably strong and brave, and that’s how you want to be, but the right support network is crucial?to help that part of the journey. And that’s where LauraLynn comes in.?LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, provides palliative care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families, and they are holding a very special ball to celebrate all the little heroes that have been in and out of LauraLynn.

It’s an evening of fun and celebration; for all the little heroes involved and their friends and family. The Heroes Ball will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge on Saturday, May 6th,?raising much-needed funds for the specialist palliative care LauraLynn provides.

With a focus on enhancing quality of life, LauraLynn provides support from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family and is a vital support network for so many in Ireland.

The LauraLynn Heroes Ball – now in its second year – promises to be a’memorable evening with Miriam O’Callaghan acting as MC, music by Perfect Day and The Dionnes and an auction presided by Allsop’s Robert Hoban.

Carmel Breheny, Chair of the LauraLynn Heroes Ball was enthusiastic to see the event running for the second year: ?After the success of our first ball in 2016, we are really excited about the 2017 LauraLynn Heroes Ball. I am very grateful to Miriam and Alan for their continued support for LauraLynn. We are really looking forward to another fantastic event, with proceeds going towards helping the little heroes we see every day in LauraLynn.?

Not only will this event be full of glitz and glamour, but is a perfect example of how so many are banding together to do great things and help those who need it most. ?Tickets are priced individually at €150 each or €2000 per corporate table of ten. Ticket price includes a drinks reception, five-star gala dinner with wine, entertainment throughout the night and an after-party and all proceeds go towards an incredible cause.

Tickets are available from www.lauralynn.ie?- don’t miss out; get yours now!

LauraLynn is hugely grateful to Marks and Spencer, who are proudly sponsoring the ball for the second year. ?
