This Dun Laoghaire apartment is for sale for €895,000 – wait until you see the view

This apartment for sale in Dun Laoghaire is an absolute cracker, with incredible sea views right in the heart of this bustling South Dublin village

If you’ve ever wandered out the east pier in Dun Laoghaire, you’ve probably looked up longingly at the row of three-storey Georgian homes that front onto the water.

A 92-square-metre apartment in one of the buildings is now for sale for €895,000 (down from €925,000). Located on the first floor of a grand, late Georgian building is a surprisingly large two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.

Recently converted, the main living space has spectacular views across the bay to Howth and Kish Bank lighthouse, as well as the busy pier walk right outside the front door.

The building is set back from the road behind the hidden DART line and the carpark for next-door hotel, The Haddington. A parking space here also comes with the property.

The apartment has been recently refurbished by its current owner and retained much of its historic features including ornate cornicing and windows.

It’s also got all the mod-cons including automatic lighting in all of the rooms, a high-speed lift and 24-hour CCT monitored security system.

The main bedroom, which also has a view of the pier, comes with a large ensuite while a smaller bedroom is located to the back. A shower room and utility room are found off the central stairwell.

There’s also a spacious shared outdoor terrace to the rear with a view of Killiney Hill.

So if you’re house or apartment hunting and a room with a view is high on your list, this might just be it.
