Working from home or self-isolating? These are the best YouTube fitness channels to exercise with over the next two weeks
It has never been more important than now to exercise.
This is for many reasons. Firstly, gyms have shut down to help stop the spread of Covid-19. Secondly, most of us are staying indoors. And thirdly, this isolation can affect our mental health and general wellbeing.
Doctors and experts can’t stress enough the importance of daily physical activity for both physical and mental health purposes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say exercising regularly can ease stress during this time and help people to cope with the uncertainty.
Even 15 minutes of physical movement can help to clear the mind which is why we are taking a look at some of the best online workouts you can do from the comfort of your own home.
From yoga to more high-intensity sessions, there is something here for every fitness level and interest. So close the door, block out social media and the world, and get that body moving.
Flowstate
Even online it’s important to support Irish where ever we can. Flowstate began as a “Passion Project”, founded by three friends who were inspired by each other’s work and wanted to find a way for their worlds to collide. John Belton and Adrienne Murphy (some of the most trusted physical trainers in Dublin) collaborated with Al Maser (graffiti artist) to create The Flowstate Mat. Since then, the Flowstate team has created an engaging space for movement in Atelier Maser and built a community and environment free from stress, allowing you to go with the flow.
