Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have opened up about life in quarantine in a hilarious interview with Ellen DeGeneres
We are big fans of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend in IMAGE.
Ridiculously beautiful with a good side dish of humour, they are our ultimate celebrity couple.
Both Chrissy and John appeared on The Ellen Show yesterday to kick off the new at-home edition of the show. Speaking via video call, the couple discussed how they had been coping during the crisis with Chrissy saying, “It’s weird how much energy I have now — I feel like a Real Housewife now.”
The couple told Ellen that Chrissy was handling the situation better, while John would prefer to have a busier schedule.
“John would love to be busier. He is still scheduling himself for so many different things,” Chrissy explained.
John added: “Everything’s on Zoom but I’m still staying busy.”
Both agreed that the most important thing is to look after each other and care for one another and to enjoy the little things, with Chrissy saying, “But I think all you can do in this situation right now, with everything that’s happening, is try to make other people happy, try to enjoy yourself.”
While John quipped, “I think the key for all of us is to love each other, take care of each other, and stay in touch with each other. Even though we can’t see each other in person, we can all virtually see each other, talk to each other, and make each other feel like we have each other we can hold on to.”
However, it wasn’t all easy for the couple, with them admitting they had dealt with some emotional moments.
“It was definitely getting to us a little bit,” the former model confessed. “We became more emotional about it, it just became a little real. It happened really fast… it’s fun to be able to be light-hearted and make jokes and try to make people happy and laugh about it, but then it really hits you and you go through these ups and downs. What we’re going through right now is unprecedented.”
Chrissy is demonstrating how to dress at home by rotating her eclectic selection of robes. “I’ve always had a lot of robes and they come from all over,” she said. “They truly are from all over the place. I’ve always lived in robes so now to pretend that this is just me casual is amazing… to put on this much makeup. At this point, John is just so thrilled. We’re just making the best of it.”
Ellen jokingly replied: “It sounds like you’re gonna have more children by the end of this quarantine.”
