The countdown is on: All you need to know about the IMAGE Women of the Year Awards, in partnership with Tesco finest*

We’re just six days away from the inaugural IMAGE of Women of the Year Awards, in partnership with Tesco finest*, and we can’t wait to celebrate inspirational women!

At IMAGE Media, we pride ourselves on championing women from all walks of life. We are an organisation for women, by women… and a few good men!

We strive to lift up and showcase women in business, as seen across our content in print, online and on our social channels, where we celebrate fearless entrepreneurship, risk takers, and start-ups and employers in all fields.

Our events provide a space where women are encouraged to take centre stage at our networking event.

Along with Tesco finest*, we want to recognise the everyday heroes that not only lift up their families and friends, but make a difference in their communities, workplaces, and spaces like hospitals and care homes.

These women are mothers, daughters, caregivers, and in some instances, complete strangers to those in need, and they act completely selflessly and look for no recognition for their kindness and generosity.

We are celebrating these women at our inaugural IMAGE Women of the Year Awards, in partnership with Tesco finest*, to say thank you, and we see you!

At a glamorous event at the Westbury Hotel in Dublin on Tuesday, December 10, these women and their loved ones – many of whom put them forward for the awards – will attend a drinks reception in the luxurious surroundings of a five-star venue.

This will be followed by a three-course meal, and an inspiring awards ceremony where women from all over the country will be awarded in Fundraiser of the Year, Carer of the Year, Courage, Special Recognition, and Community Spirit categories. It is an opportunity for their family and friends, and extended community, to show these incredible women how much their acts of kindness mean to them.

Inspirational woman and mum-of-eight Miriam O’Callaghan will host the event, while our stellar judging panel consists of IMAGE editor-in-chief Lizzie Gore-Grimes, social media influencer and business owner James Kavanagh, and broadcaster and breast cancer campaigner Georgie Crawford.

For more on the event, and the incredible women recognised at the IMAGE Women of the year Awards, in partnership with Tesco finest*, follow along on social media with #TWOTY19, and stay tuned to image.ie and our social channels for full coverage.

We’re also giving away two tickets to the event here. You’ve just one more day to enter! Guests should arrive to the Westbury for a drinks reception at 12pm, and expect plenty of entertainment, inspirational stories and fun on the day.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
