to watch on Netflix this December
Filmed for Netflix at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, Relatable marks Ellen’s return to stand-up comedy after a 15-year hiatus. The now 60-year-old hasn’t done anything like this since 2003 (unless you count her commendable role as Academy Awards host in 2014).
Now, everyone’s favourite TV personality revisits her road to stardom; detailing the heartfelt (and hilarious) lessons she’s learned along the way.
Last night, Netflix released the trailer for the comedy special which premieres on December 18. It shows the Louisiana-native joking about everything from her experience of coming out as gay, to her thoughts on emotional support animals.
If you’re a fan of Ellen’s opening monologues on her daytime talk show, this stand-up performance is a must-watch.
